Introduction to Reiki
This class qualifies for Nursing and Massage Therapist CEU's!
In this interactive class the participants will learn the following:
What is Reiki?
The practice of Reiki will be defined and explained within the context of energy medicine. The participants will understand what Reiki is and how it developed. The subject of energy medicine will be introduced, including its importance to ancient cultures.
How does Reiki work?
Reiki is a light touch method of energy medicine where the practitioner channels the energy through to the recipient, who then receives the energy. Reiki is the highest form of vibrational energy therefore, it can never hurt, it will always go where it needs to go, and one can never get too much. We will discuss Universal energy, or Hado, as well as the body’s energy systems - the aura, the chakras, and the meridians.
How can Reiki be used in your health care practice?
We will be discussing how Reiki can help in your health care practice by using the hands to access our natural power to heal.
The class will include a Reiki demonstration as well as interactive energy exercises.

Do you have a loved one who needs Distance Healing?
The Reiki practitioner works with a name and/or a photo of the your loved one to send healing Reiki energy while in a state of deep meditation.
Distance healing is done over a three day period for
15 minutes per day.
