Sacred Listening is a program that teaches us how to sustain, integrate and listen to our inner knowing while experiencing amazing life transformation. The Sacred Listening program teaches healthy communication, self-developed spiritual guidance and transformation. Workshop This one-day workshop offers an intense discovery of the Chakra System. Discussion will include the characteristics of each of the seven primary chakras, including the location, archetypes, and the psychology of the chakra system. Students will be given exercises and yoga moves to stimulate each of the chakras. Meditation techniques and affirmations centered on the chakras will be explored. Essential oils and crystals will be used to enhance the experience. The practice of Reiki will be defined and explained within the context of energy medicine. The participants will understand what Reiki is and how it developed. The subject of energy medicine will be introduced, including its importance to ancient cultures. How does Reiki work? Reiki is a light touch method of energy medicine where the practitioner channels the energy through to the recipient, who then receives the energy. Reiki is the highest form of vibrational energy therefore, it can never hurt, it will always go where it needs to go, and one can never get too much. We will discuss Universal energy, or Hado, as well as the body’s energy systems - the aura, the chakras, and the meridians. How can Reiki be used in your health care practice? We will be discussing how Reiki can help in your health care practice by using the hands to access our natural power to heal. Meet Horse
The facilitator of the Sacred Listening series is Horse, one of the co-creators of the Giveaway Lodge in Stacy, MN. Horse has spent many years studying with 27 spiritual teachers and intuitive masters. Through his own journey he has overcome emotional and physical devastation, by reaching within and praying for the support of his spiritual elders, who taught him about genuine transformational intimacy through body-kindness, self-awareness, and sacred listening.
