Development Program

Are you being called to practice your healing art full-time, but don’t know how to create a viable, sustainable holistic business?  Do you have a vision or mission for yourself or your business, but you can’t begin to execute it?  Is it overwhelming to think of all the details that go into building a business? 

This is a three-week six-hour virtual program that will take you through the process of designing a thriving, maintainable holistic healing business. 
 
Session One: Creating the Vision
Learn how to create a strong vision and mission statement from which you will build the foundation of the business. Discover how to exercise a business consciousness while maintaining the integrity of the healing work. The first session begins with
  • Defining your purpose
  • Creating a vision based on your purpose
  • Setting goals that will begin to manifest the vision
Session one will give you clarity around your purpose, provide you tools to create the vision, and assist in setting realistic goals to begin the process 

Session Two: Structure of the Business
In this session you will explore options for the business structure, decide on what services to offer and rates to charge, and discuss where to locate your business based on the purpose and structure.  Session two includes
  • Looking at pros and cons of sole proprietorship, a limited liability company or a corporation
  • Investigating potential markets to determine services to offer and rates to charge
  • Discussing the advantages of leasing commercial space, becoming part of a collaborative group, traveling to your clients, or setting up space in your home
  • Choosing your financial platform where income and expenses are recorded
Session two will provide information that will assist in making decisions about the practical aspects of setting up a small business as well as discussing issues specific to holistic healing

Session Three: Creating Excitement Around Your Brand​
Determine how to decide on a business name and create a logo that will become your brand.  Create excitement around that brand by considering different marketing strategies and advertising avenues.  This session includes
  • Discussing how your name and your logo represent your business and therefore your purpose
  • Looking at different ideas for logo creation
  • Comparing different marketing and advertising strategies for holistic businesses, learning what works and what doesn’t
Session three will give you the tools you need to decide on a name and design a logo that will become easily recognizable when choosing advertising that supports your marketing goals.
